PART TIME PRACTICE NURSE VACANCY
It is likely that the post holder will have completed three years general training and have a portfolio of evidence for experience in primary care post-registration. A willingness to be flexible in working arrangements would be expected.
The post holder should bring a willingness to undergo in-house and external training as the need arises.
Candidates are expected to offer nursing skills for treatment room emergencies and some insight into the care of acute conditions. Knowledge of child immunisations, health care education experience and an awareness of Health & Safety requirements would be valued. Specific skills in long term management of chronic conditions would be an advantage.
The role of Practice Nurse is integral to work at the surgery and the continued development of the nursing team. Initially hours would be 16 hrs/wk with salary/grade dependent on experience.

MATERNITY COVER - RECEPTIONIST
We need someone friendly and approachable to cover for one of our staff who will be going on maternity leave for eleven months from 1st March 2012.
The role is for around 16 hours worked as two days but as it is a job share additional cover will be required for holidays and sickness.
