Make an appointment
Tadcaster Medical Centre operates a same day/next day booking system for the majority of appointments with the GPs. Some appointments are available, however, up to three weeks in advance including nurses, midwife and phlebotomy.
All appointments can be booked by the reception team over the telephone between 8.30 am and 6pm but in addition appointments with the GPs can be booked, checked or cancelled at any time using our automated system and your telephone keypad. If you have access to the internet we also operate an internet booking system once you have been allocated a login details. If you are unable to attend your appointment please contact the Medical Centre to cancel it so that we can offer it to another patient - significant numbers of appointments are wasted each month when patients fail to cancel.
You are registered with the practice and not an individual GP. You can, however, choose which GP you want to see when you make an appointment, subject to availaility. The exception to this are our Saturday morning appointments which are with an unnamed doctor.
