We are a GP training practice for post-graduate students. These students are fully qualified doctors learning to specialise in General Practice. To help them, you may be invited on occasion to have your consultation recorded onto video. Be assured that video recording will not be undertaken without your consent.
Physical examinations will not be recorded, and the camera will be switched off at any time at your request. You may also be offered an appointment with a final year medical student alongside one of our partners.
We also host final year medical students from Hull York Medical School. They see patients independently then have their consultation checked by one of the GP partners at the practice (usually Dr Pitt, Dr Reynolds or Dr Langridge) which means their consultations are longer than usual.
You may also be treated by a Student Nurse from York University. They work alongside our qualified nurses to give them experience in primary care and you will always see them with a member of our team.
